Peachjar - Community Events

Our district wants families to know about district-approved community programs and resources offered by organizations like yours! Peachjar charges a fee for this service, which is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers. There are many additional benefits to using Peachjar—clickable buttons that take parents directly to your website, flyer performance reports, and not to mention the time saved driving school to school!

To submit your flyer for district approval, review our Flyer Approval Guidelines and follow the steps below. Paper flyers from outside organizations will no longer be distributed.

1. Register your account as a Community Organization on Peachjar.com
2. Review Peachjar’s Guide for Community Organizations for information about discount pricing, flyer creation tips, and more
3. Go to ‘Post & Notify’ in your account to submit a flyer

After you hit submit, your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district for approval. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to parents and posted on each school’s web flyerboard for your selected duration of time.

Flyer distribution takes place on Fridays. The district asks that organizations submit flyers at least a week in advance of the date that they would like to receive approval. Once approved, flyers will be posted online to the designated school websites and parents will be notified by email.

All flyers are subject to approval by the district, and must adhere to Board of Education Policy 851, Advertising in the School. Please review the policy for more information.

For groups and organizations affiliated with Waunakee Community School District, distributing flyers through Peachjar will always be free. These groups include student groups, athletic teams, Family Teacher Organizations (FTO), booster clubs and other organizations that exist solely to serve the District's mission and students, and whose revenue directly supports Waunakee Community School District and its schools may also submit flyers for distribution through PeachJar. All flyers will go through an approval process prior to distribution and posting.

We invite school-related groups to contact the Communications Department to register for a PeachJar account as the first step in uploading their flyers to be distributed to our schools. Please contact the Communications office at wcsd_communications@waunakee.k12.wi.us. You will receive a welcome email with instructions once the account is created.

The Waunakee Community School District offers non-profit organizations the opportunity to provide students and families information about activities that fit with the school district's mission, vision, and beliefs. Information regarding community activities/programs that are for public school-age students will be shared with students/families if (1) the information meets the criteria set forth by the district and follows Board Policy; and (2) the person requesting to share the information through the schools follows the procedure for the distribution of the material.
